Linda DeFratus has been fascinated by skin care and make up since high school. Her professional career in the beauty business began in 1961, giving her fifty years of experience in retail, multi-level, contract packaging, raw material sales and management.
Her background includes weekly appearances on a local women’s television program in her hometown of Denison, Texas.
After moving to Dallas in 1972, she wrote and published a popular handbook, “How to Look Younger in Seven Days,” that helps every woman find the best products for her skin.
Over the years, Linda has completed numerous sales, marketing, and people management courses, and has attended Grayson College. She has delivered sales and motivational presentations to large audiences, as well as to local women’s clubs and schools, to teach proper skin care techniques, share product knowledge, and demonstrate how to sell and present products. Ms. DeFratus is also an active member of the Society of Cosmetics Chemists.

Hal has over 20 years of personal care, technology, and production experience in business operating, development and investment leadership roles. Prior to Active Organics, he spent 6 years as COO and General Counsel for early stage Dallas based media, technology and investment companies.
Hal has had direct responsibility for the launch and development of businesses, and for over $200 million in business acquisitions, technology development and sales, as well as all legal matters.
Hal has also served as a senior executive and general counsel for media, technology, business services and distribution companies. He served in operating and counsel roles for e-business solutions, online media and Internet fulfillment companies. He founded a firm providing outsourced general counsel services to high growth companies and private equity groups throughout the US. He began his career in the private practice of law for a top US and international law firm.
Hal earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin; a J.D. from Southern Methodist University; and has completed the SMU Cox School of Business Management Development Program. Hal is engaged in numerous charitable activities including currently serving on the governing board for the Perot Museum of Nature & Science. Sandra has an addiction to health and beauty and she's always open to trying new things. She is addicted to dry-skin brushing and always starts her mornings with 20oz of warm water with lemon.
