You’re stockHalloween Makeup 3ed up on candy for trick-or-treaters and the kids have Hollywood-worthy costumes; or maybe you’ve RSVP’d to a fabulous, grownups-only Halloween bash. In any case, you’ve overlooked your disguise (again). Never fear! We’ve rounded up some of the best, easiest Halloween makeup ideas on the Internet, and the good news is that most of us can pull these off without darkening the door of a store. Just turn on the creativity and dig deep into your cosmetics stash and closet for what might be your best Halloween look yet!

giraffeThe Giraffe: Brown eyeliner? Check. Rubber bands? Double check. Even without a fancy face-painting palette, you can pull off a variant of this look with a brown eyeliner or eye shadow. Add some twisty topknots and a neutral top and you’re done – bonus points for upping the cuteness and glam factors with false lashes.

The Skeleton: Again, if you don’t have face paint, just lean on your black eyeliner, shadow, and powder to create your own take on this popular theme. Just add black clothing, or try bright flowers in your hair for a festive Day of the Dead look.

pirateThe Pirate: Channel your inner Captain Jack Sparrow by using what’s lying around the house. Don’t be shy with the makeup (especially that eyeliner). Have fun by using what you have on hand – your daughter’s glitter gel, that dark lipstick you never wear, etc. Add a head scarf, big earrings, lots of bangles and chains, and some skinny braids to your hair for full effect. Jeans, boots, and your most pirate-worthy top finish the look.
